All Protan membranes can be divided into 2 groups.SE membranes (including EX and EXG) have polyester reinforcement and are mainly used for open roofing. G membranes for protected roofs are reinforced with fiberglass.
Protan SE, EX and EXG membranes
Mechanically fixed PVC membranes reinforced with polyester. Used on open flat and pitched roofs. Resistant to high and low temperatures, UV rays and fire. These membranes have self-extinguishing components.

1.2÷1.6 mm polyester reinforced PVC membrane. Used in mechanically fixed roofing with a vacuum clamping system. | Polyester reinforced PVC membrane with textile fiber (polyester). Used in open wooden-base roofing and for renovation. | Polyester reinforced PVC membrane with textile fiber (fiberglass). Used in open roofing and can be mounted directly on expanded polystyrene insulation. |
Protan G membranes
G membranes are reinforced with fiberglass and are used in protected roofing. GT membranes for terraces. Their basic property is great flexibility (elongation up to 200%) even in sub-zero temperatures down to -30 ° C.
